Appearance, color, odor, firmness and maturity, including wilting, dehydration, softening, decay, mold, bruising, cuts, splits, pressure marks and other mechanical damage.
Size, weight, count, grade, color stage, maturity and uniformity. Firmness, soluble-solids or other agreed measurements may be included where relevant to the product.
Insects, pest presence, disease marks, decay, soil, plant residue, foreign material, mixed lots, inconsistent sizing and products outside the agreed grade.
Product core temperature, pre-cooling, storage and loading temperature, available cold-chain records, transit time, ventilation and relevant ethylene-risk observations.
Cartons, pallets, ventilation, internal protection, net weight, carton count, labels, origin, grower or packer, lot identity, harvest or packing dates and document consistency.
Independent checks before dispatch or loading, including product condition, quantity, packing, temperature, loading readiness and compliance with the agreed buyer specification.
Inspection during unloading or at the destination to document cargo damage, decay, condensation, temperature deviation, packaging failure, quantity differences and the condition of the received lot. The report can support commercial discussions or a claim, subject to the agreed scope and evidence limitations.
Coordinate laboratory testing for pesticide residues or microbiology when required, and review phytosanitary documents or official requirements. Commercial inspection does not issue official phytosanitary certificates or release decisions.
QUALITY CONTROL
Weather, harvest timing and field conditions can change size, maturity, firmness and appearance across the same lot.
Fresh produce quality depends on timely cooling and controlled storage after harvest. Delays can accelerate softening, dehydration or decay.
Long transit times and temperature variation can affect condition at arrival, especially for highly perishable products.
Ventilation, carton strength, internal protection, labels and presentation influence both product condition and retail acceptance.
AUDITS & INSPECTIONS
Review agreed quality, hygiene, traceability and operational controls so buyers can identify risks before shipment.
Check growing, irrigation, fertilizer, pest-control, harvest and worker-hygiene controls within the agreed project scope.
Assess selected GHP, GAP, GMP or HACCP-related controls against a buyer checklist or agreed requirements.
Verify packing, pre-cooling, storage, loading, temperature records and shipment readiness for time-sensitive produce.
Compare condition after transit, document evidence and support practical corrective actions when the project includes destination checks.
QUALITY CONTROL SUPPORT
Compare net weight, count, carton quantity and agreed tolerances against the purchase specification. Where a line check is required, record the observed process or review available checkweigher records.
Review product, packing and handling controls for foreign material. Metal-detection or other in-line equipment checks can be included when they are part of the agreed factory audit scope; this service does not install or certify production equipment.
Review supplier certificates and compliance documents for identity, scope, site, product coverage, validity, consistency with the shipment and destination-market requirements. This service identifies document risks; it does not issue, renew or replace formal certification.
